99 Lumina LTZ 3.8L Coolant level sensor?
OK, I give up. Where is the low coolant sensor? The "Low Coolant" light stays on. Coolant is not low. I've looked all over the radiator and all over the "over flow" tank. I can not find a sensor or even wire leading to either. At one point, to tried to fix this. I flushed the coolant system and recharged. The light went out for awhile, but came back on again and it stays on.
Thanks in advance. |

Did you look under the overflow reservoir? Some are located there. You may have to unbolt and move the PCM to see it all.

I have a 98, which I assume is the same.
Look on the passenger side of the radiator towards the top, kind of behind the headlight. I need to replace mine too but just havent gotten around to it. |

It's located in the passenger side radiator tank, about 1/3 the way down. It's about 1-1/2" square and has a 2 wire oval connector.
