Re: Black vinyl window trim

I had this on my 2g and I had to go to the dealer. IIRC, they're actually not TOO expensive.

Re: Black vinyl window trim

Hey this same thing happened to me. they sell this black vinyl tape at pepboys and you put it over the whole side then you trim it. i was gonna paint mine but found this and i think its better. it wont peel off i have had washed my car tons of times and its still in place.

Re: Black vinyl window trim

I'm just going to strip mine and paint it. Seems a lot easier and better IMO.

Re: Black vinyl window trim

The metal underneath my upper window trim is starting to show as well, I've been meaning to take them off and repaint them, but I can't figure out how to take them off with out breaking them. I supose putting some news paper between the window to cover it and put some news paper under the top of the trim so the paint doesn't get on the roof or window should do the trick, but I don't know.
