Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX...worth it?

I was looking into this car and it's an AWD, in my price range and has around 200hp like I wanted stock. I don't know too much about this car and was wondering how reliable this car was? Also, is an Acura RSX Type S a better option than this? Or any other car around this price range?

Re: Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX...worth it?

what are you trying to get out of it. like if it is a dd the rsx will beat the gsx and then some. but if you want performence that the gsx will win cause that engine is a modding whore

I know that the eclipse has tons of mods, like your use of "whore" in your statement, funny...but yeah I want something that I can fix the engine up on to get the most out of it that I can drive on the street. I don't know how much you can mod the rsx engine but I know they are both around 200hp. Not sure what dd means either?

Re: Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX...worth it?

well dd means daily driver.

Personally, I wouldn't touch a Mitsubishi Eclipse unless it had a stock turbo and was a hobby car. Mitsubishis aren't very reliable cars from what i've seen. I dunno much about the RSX car except that insurance would probably skyrocket (same with eclipse for that matter) for you and is most likely really reliable.(its a honda after all) But hey if you like workin' on cars then that eclipse will probably be your new best friend.
