3000gt vr4 or a 2nd Gen Eclipse, HELP!
I am looking into buying a 94 3000gt VR4 or a second Gen Eclipse GSX. I don't know witch one to get. I do want to do a lot of upgrades to which ever one I get. Which is more reliable after upgrades and which will move faster if I spend the same amount of money on them?

The Eclipse will be cheaper overall. It can also be faster depending on the $$$ you intend to sink in. I don't konw where the break point is, but a couple hundred will get you low 12s in the VR4. You'll need more to get the exclipse there. No VR4 has verifiably gotten 9s yet but exclipses have (though that is some serious $$$$$ to do that)
Reliability is a crap shoot after you mod a car. My 94 has no mods and runs like a champ. My 95 has a lot of mods and runs like a champ. But, you just never know. The VR4 is a much better looking vehicle and faster out of the box.

Since you have 2 vr4's, I went to this site and I want you to check it out and tell me about what you think about the road he suggests to upgrading. http://www.daveblack.net/asp/3SiFAQ.asp

What he has there is pretty much the same you'll find anywhere for the VR4. Its the path I've gone through with the Spyder although I have not gone to replacing the turbos (yet). Another good site to check out is http://www.stealth316.com/0-frames.htm bucket loads of information there.
