Keyless entry

We just bought a 01 gt and was wondering how i can find out if it has keyless entry..it didnt come with a fob..The reason i ask is when i was disabling the automatic locks it was in the mode that said can only be used if you have keyless entry..(mode 2) i think..I know i bought a ford truck that didnt come with a fob then i found out that it had it..Just wondering how i can check..Thanks..Rodney

Well you can check the fuse box(drivers side) for the lock-unlock relays.
So models have the parts installed you just need the key fob and maybe a relay or two.
And some models may not of had all the parts installed, it just depends on your specifc model. You can also call the dealer and give them your VIN, this should say what you need.

Though I think the key fob needs programed by the stealership on 2001+, check out this post.
