Re: transmission problem!!

Check to make sure your shift linkage is properly attached and torque the bolts. Also check your tranny fluid level. I'm thinking it a bad gear selector fork in the tranny.

No it doesn't.

As CRXperiment said, make sure you have enough fluid in it and aren't leaking from anywhere.

Re: transmission problem!!

i tried putting fluid in it and it feels like it doesnt have any power anymore. it takes forever to pick up and when i down shift it pops out of second all the time so i gotta put it in nuetral and just brake... i have another tranny but it only has four gears...which brings me to my next question do u think i should just drop that one in or get another five speed??? if i put the four in would it make a huge difference in power???

If it was low and you burned out the tranny itself, don't bother changing the clutch if the tranny is gone. This will just be a waste of time since you probably need a new tranny anyway.

Re: transmission problem!!

dont waste your money.
try putting honda MFT in it, or GM synchromesh fluid, that might help.
a new clutch wont help you put the transmission into gear
