Bad head gasket or LIM gasket?
Can anyone tell me if there is a way to tell between a bad head gasket or bad LIM gasket? I have a 96 Windstar thats running really rough with the "chocolate milk" in the oil pan. It doesn't hold any radiator fluid for long. It seems to all go in the oil pan. Figuring I was gonna have to change the head gaskets, I pulled the manifolds and there was alot of that "milkshake" oil underneath the LIM. Does that mean I just need a LIM gasket or would that also happen with a blown head gasket? Thanks for reading.

Re: Bad head gasket or LIM gasket?
I would bet on the LIM gasket. And if wrong, it isn't a lot of work/money to respend.
