Revell "Uptown" Charger SRT 8

My 1st completed car of 07 - not a bad kit but it does show it's die cast origins with most of the parts being either a snap fit or secured with screws. The worst part for me are the gaps around the lambo doors and also getting the doors to fit flush when closed up. On reflection pehaps I should have followed Zoom Zoom MX5's method and made the doors static - oh well. The kit comes with an engine plate but as the detail was minimal I didn't bother with it. The trunk also comes with amps & speakers but after fitting the trunk lid it looked as if it would catch on the rear glass when raised & possibly chip the paint. Paint is Volkswagen Canyon Red Pearl with Mr Hobby Super Clear and the rims are Aoshima Fabulous Various MB-5'S. Anyway here's the pics:

Thanks for looking
Andy

Looks incredible....very clean and realistic, despite the gaps around the door. Very nice colour too and suits it perfectly I think. Seems a bit too low though (is there such a thing as too low?! ) but great stuff!

Sweet colour, suits it well and a great shine, I am planning on getting one of these and will probably shut up everything seeing the fitment issues, I plan to use those rims on a Dodge Magnum SRT8 I'm building.
