srt-4 guy called and said next week but i raced 1998-2002 z28 and a 99 -2004 stang gt from a the freeway they were messin with me throwin revs i beat them both real bad i raced both from a roll at 50 -55 i dont know there mods i didnt no the guys

Savage, I hope the 14.7 @ 92mph is a V6 and not a 350 or 348 or whatever the hell the GM V8 in the Z and T/A is. You'll need more than that to get a GT.

What's up with your car right now? Are you adding nitrous or a supercharger? Oh, if that is a V6 that's still pretty good #'s for a V6. Hell when I had my 92 5.0 5spd. I had a K&N, pulleys and I ran a 14.2 @ 93mph.

i can post pics if u guys tell me how soon as i look through the boxs ill list everthing i dont even no what half the mods do im a x riceburner guy but theres like 2 full pages of just mods typed then 100's of reseats and records i now it has performance heads? what does that do ? not headers heads correct me if im wrong but everone acts like the ls1 is so much faster then the lt1 but ive looked and the 0 to 60 and 1/4 times and the differnce is buy .2 .3 at the most these r stock specs

14.7 @ 92 was 3 days before the tranny blew up, on a 185k-ish mile engine. Yes a v6.

I've been DDing it with the blown up tranny since October 13th and it gets worse every day... the only shifts it still does itself are the 1-2 (barely) and the 2-1. Everything else I need to do manually. That combined with a tired engine that loves burning oil and a MASSIVE exhaust leak where the egr used to be (thanks to a friend's crappy welding job on the blockoff plate) gives a huffy advantage... I can't go more than 1/4 throttle in 1st or 2nd or it does this crazy grinding/rubbing noise, have to slowly roll into it from a stop otherwise its friggin earthquake city, etc. I have a rebuilt engine and tranny going in... once it's in, broken in, tuned and ran at the track then you'll all get a more detailed post about it

wow, i had no clue u were having problems like that on your car...and as for heads...if u have a bad ass set of heads on your car then yeah im sure u are letting loose sum real good power!..heads and cam cars kick plenty of ass, with just that alone...... once i get that package ill be doing sum crazy shit im sure lol.....that will come along with a 396 stroker so that will be fun to see on the track..... ill need some M/T's just to get the damn car to hook lol. have u dynoed your car yet?
