Unhappy "Bounce"

I have a '92 Accord. 160k on the clock. There is a growl in the right front and the right front wheel 'bounces' like it is out of balance but it isn't. Starts at about 35 mph and goes on up. The tire & wheel have been balanced 6 times. The tires have been rotated. I bought a new wheel. I had a new axle put on and replaced the struts. I am at a loss as to what is causing the problem. This has been going on for about 10,000 miles and doesn't seem to be getting any worse but it is very irritating and makes one wonder when something is going to go clear out and leave one stranded somewhere. Years ago I had the same problem with an '85 Accord. Couldn't get it solved so traded the car.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Stan

Re: "Bounce"

check all your bushings. Also check the front crossmember radius arm bushings make sure that 17mm is tight it could cause "looseness." Next there is a bushing on the pass side called the rack end bushing, it could be worn resulting in play in the rack.

Re: "Bounce"

Thank you, InJ3cted, for your input. I believe they checked all that when they put the new axle in but I'll take it in and have it double checked.

Thanks again,
Stan
