Subaru project progress...

Hi all! I decided to build my Subaru after reading about P-Man's and Daggerlee's. I just started this past Sunday and have the interior and some of the bodywork started. Rolling stock so far is a set of 17" BBS rims from Fujimi. They don't look too bad since I painted them Gunmetal(ain't that the coolest color?!) I'm going with Tamiya Chrome Yellow so far but who knows where the primer coat may take me?! The front bumper has a piece that fits over it; it's not too bad after it has been trimmed and some putty applied to smooth it out. I did this because I'm gonna try to fit an intercooler behind the bumper. It's kind of hard to tell, but I lowered it a little in the front to make it look a bit better

Looks great, the whhels look nice on it.

It looks like you have painted the body already, the plastic is very shiney! I think silver woul actually look great with those rims.

It's been "almost finished" for about two years. I want to lower it a little but the suspension is a little weird. I thought I would be able to apply the primer to the WRX but I stared at it and then picked up the Dremel so I could open the hood vents; then I added a little styrene to the bottom of the front bumper ; I wanted this to be a quick project but you know how that goes!!!:cyclops: I have decided to paint it Indy Silver...for now...

I'm sure your skilled enough to make one.

I have a couple of Impreza plans and ideas for the future including the Cusco Imp, The STI Electra One and a road going 22B using the Tamiya rally car and a fujimi coupe.

Haha, welcome the family? That's looking good, mine is in silver too. I've got some 17" on there as well

P-man - yeah I had trouble masking like the instructions said so I just sprayed my interior semi gloss black. If you find any pics of the interior let me know and I may redo mine.

I looked at the seats and acted like I didn't see the color diagram! I thought I was gonna paint my WRX yellow and thought it would look cool with red seats Now the car's gonna be Silver; oh well!!!
