Need help!!

Hi,

Just need some help on something and i hope u guys in the know can help. A friend of mine has got a nissan, its MPFI,
but thing is..its really weird...
when the car is rev'ed a little bit (like 2000rpm) the car goes mad and the engine starts to (how can i explain it?) jump? its like its misfiring or something...or fuel isnt getting in or something..
Do u guys know what kind of problems that it might be..
my guess was
either: 1.)fuel filter/fuel pump/injectors
2.) The dizzy/or plug wires
Its not the battery, alternator was replaced recently its not the spark plugs...just dont know what it is!!!

I just had a similar problem on my civic.

When it's running, pull each plug, one by one. If you pull one, and the motor bogs down. You know its firing. If you pull one, and nothing happens. You know that wire isnt firing.

My situation was the 3 and 4 wires were dead.

Could also be somthing in the dizzy ... had a very similar prob with my saab ... turned out to be the rotor arm in the dizzy ... was cracked to hell and stopped the engine firing properly ...
