Biggest tires on Factory Jeep?

I have a 96 cherokee country edition 4X4 4.0 I have some super swampers 29 x 10.5 x 15 that I wanted to put on but i was wanting to know if anyone knew if they would fit or not.

Also what are the biggest tires you can put on a cherokee with factory suspension???

Thanks in advance

You can fit 30X9.50s on a stock XJ and they will rub plastic alittle when flexed up. Swampers tend to run bigger than most other brands of tire. Your 29s will probably work fine but will rub the flares alittle.

Cool Re: Biggest tires on Factory Jeep?

Good answer, Ray.

But off road flexing may cause some rubbing.

I have 29s or 235/75-15...no rub at all...when stock.

I have a 2 in. budget lift and will use 30s when these wear out. BTW the 29 do not rub at all with a budget lift. That is even with sway bar disconnected.
