94 Clunk noise
I have had my buick for 3 years now and she has been real good to me. She has been nickle and diming me to death but i love her
. Ok now starts the problem when i go around a sharp corner it makes a loud clunk noise that sounds like its comming from the front passenger side. I can feel this in the steering wheel but it does not effect the turn at all. Now my new problem is starting, when i go down a road with slight bumps i can hear my suspension ( i think) making small clunking noises. I am a perfectionist with my car and it is killing me and i dont want to bring it to the dealer to get it fixed if me and my buddys can do it. Thanks guys i love this fourm now ive been reading it at work for hours.

Re: 94 Clunk noise
It could be time to replace the ball joints and sway-bar end links. You may also have an upper strut bearing rusting & binding. Have a good front-end shop inspect the suspension components and tell you what needs replacement. You can do it yourself, if you have the right tools & know how.

Re: 94 Clunk noise
Welcome to AF
![]() Off the wall here but, make sure the battery is properly secured. After htat I would get in there and visually inspect all components in the suspect area, starting with loose lugs ![]() Good way to get started is raise the car up (support accordingly) and grab the wheel and see if you can create the noise/feeling you'r experiencing and track it to the source. Note: a case of beer usually intices a buddy to help
