Got the ZC all cleaned up, ready to go.

Well, this ZC I picked up has been completely taken apart, cleaned, dried, and is ready to be put back together. I just have to wait until Monday to get the new head gasket, well, all the gaskets really.

Also, I went to the boneyard today, and picked up the 89 dizzy, and cam sensor for a whopping $12. I dont think these guys know what they're worth.

for no reason should you clean a zc. they are stupid and a waiste of time. i speak from experience. i haven't put one in my car but i have beat them with my hundred thousand mile single cam which is no longer around. just trying to help you man. sell it if you can and step up and buy a real swap. be cheap and you'll regret it.

damn girl, your really wreckin on everyone tonight...... well, zc's are good engines, just depends on how its built up, and KB already installed it in his car, so your too late

Well, thats fine and dandy. Doing any kind of swap is not "cheap".

Shit, maybe I should be like everyone else and get a B16 dude.

First and formost :finger: Second, bring on your hundred thousand mile SOHC. I garuntee your car will not beat my ZC. I garuntee your prelude will not touch my ZC either. Real swap?? like he said maybe he should get a B16 and be like everyone else. oh wait a minute, My ZC beats B16s (Both gen B16s too, 160 and 170 Hp versions and it beat one with an ITR intake manifold and every bolt on possible!)... hmm so is my ZC a real swap? i would consider it to be. BTW my car is a hatch. I got hubcaps, do you? still wanna run? its heavier than your rex...

oh yeah, you might want to have your keyboard looked at, seems like its capitalizing random letters. (aZn*RaCeR*cHiCk ) I would tell them to check the shift button.

ok number one.. I wasnt the one who wrote all the crap. It was my boyfriend.

he was drunk.. so thats a lame excuse to make fun of the way i write my login name biatch. He has a first generation b16 jdm. Your full of crap to say your can beat him. He even beat a zc with a stock crx motor. comon now.. if you are gonna talk shit come down to dallas and i will bet money on it.

Come down to Dallas? Uhm no. its too freaking hot there. But if you want to come up to beautiful Washington DC Ill take you on a personal tour of the city. Like I said in my above posts my ZC can, has and will beat a B16. There is a mechanic who works with me who has a 91 hatch, B16a and all the bolt ons- smoked by a car length.
My roommate, 94 CX hatch, B16a with even more bolt ons (his car is lighter than the 91 SI0 - Beat it by a fender.

The impression you have of a ZC is a common one, you have probably seen a bunch of BEAT MOTORS in cars running shitty times. There are plenty of slow ZCs around here. But keep in mind there are those of us who actually KNOW SHIT about cars and have had our motor compression and leak down tested before we threw them in our cars.

Maybe your boyfriend was drunk when he raced that ZC and thought he won. You know ones judgement is very effected by the toxins in alcohol.

Why does my setup do what it does? The secret is in the tranny and the weight of the car....
