Lightbulb Re: how to change front left blinker light

To access the turn signal bulb(s) you need to pull the headlamp assembly out. Pop the hood and raise open. The headlamp assembly has two white retainer clips (to the backside of the headlamp assembly) The clips are about 1/2 inch wide by 1-1/2 inch. The clip(s) will pull straight up about an inch or so with not to much effort. Do not pull them out all the way if you don't have too. (If you do they should push right back on after your done) The headlamp assembly should be disconnected from frame and should come (wiggle) out towards you. The wiring is still connected so bring it out just far enough to access the connnection to where your turn signal bulb is located.

Service Manual says to remove the rubber access cover from behind the park/turn signal lamp bulb.

Rotate the park/turn signal lamp socket counterclockwise to release.

Remove the bulb from the socket. (use care if it is seized tightly)

Reverse procedure to reinstall. I like to use some electric grease to prevent the bulbs from seizing up.

When you replace the headlamp back into place you can see where it needs to be guided back with good lighting.

I like to set a towel on the bumper to prevent any scratching on the bumper.

Good luck. They are not too hard at all.
Manual says front park/turn signal lamp is part 4157NAK

Re: how to change front left blinker light

I think the bulbs are usually sold in packs of two, but in case they arent you might want to buy a two pack if youre anal about your car like I am. Im not sure what brand of bulbs were in the car before one went out, but the Eiko replacement I bought was much brighter and a completely different shade of orange than the other one that was left in there. It bugged the heck out of me so I ended up replacing both of them. Because your turn signals are essentially your DRLs. I had one that was darker, and a deeper shade of orange, and one that was really bright and a lighter shade, no one else said they could see a difference but I sure could. Just tossing that out there.
