Tamiya's 1/12 Ferrari F50

Looks like it's gonna be about £200 here in the UK.

Just wanted to know what you guys think of it? Guarenteed collectors item? Worth £200? What do you think to the detail?
This one was going to do the rounds a few years back, don't know if it made it or not!

Smile Another round.

This was released several years ago. I had a chance to buy one for $135 at the end of it's run, then they started showing up on E-bay selling for $5-600! I would say that it will always go up in value, there is obvoiusly a market for them.

It wasn't until the recent announcement of its re-issue that i realised it was a metal kit, always thought it was plastic. I saw one a year or two ago for about £150, might try and get one this time around. Wonder if it will still be cheaper to order from Japan coz its must weigh some?

HLJ want about £180 plus P&P for it. I'll see if anyone advertises it here first.
I am sure it will go up in value too. Limited edition.

I think I need a change of pants. That looks amazing.

I don't think it's worth that kind of money though, to me anyway.

That definitely looks nice, but I'd rather spend the 2-300 dollars or so on something else, like a Playstation 2. I'd rather build the 1/24 version, anyway (again!)

I could never justify paying that much to myself, nevermind justifying it to my wife! :o

Not a very big fan of the F50 but that looks amazing. It's more than S$500....

That's more than my rent.
