940 speedometer jumps up and down
my 92 940 speedometer is acting up. when i just switch the car on, the speedometer moves. sometimes it works fine. the tach works fine. when the car is moving, the speedo does not work most of the time, it jumps up and down.

Sounds like a bad speedometer cable.
