Help Please
What would happen if i hooked up a 1200 Watt Kicker Amp up to 2 500 Watt kicker Subs? Would the amp over heat and blow or would the subs blow?
I Really need to know so tell me what you guys think?

what are the ratings for each, in rms watts and the impedance of the subs, how many coils, and what is the amp stable to?

Cant remember who posted it but if you see it give yourself credit Don't ever look at cars as just imports or domestics. Just because a car is made in a certain country doesn't mean that it is anything like another car from that country. anyway that amp will get hot but it shouldn't be so hot that it goes into protection mode. reason be hide it is the only kicker amp that i belive they make that is 1200 watts is the 1250 and that only puts out that much at 1 ohm i belive.
and i dought you have more audio stuff then paulD let alon every one

btw, if you hook the amp up in lower ohms it will put out MORE power, not less.
