ford fiesta engine noise

please help. i have a problem with my 04 ford fiesta. i have an noise coming from the pulley side of the engine when the car is idling. it seems to happen more when the engine is hot. the garage cant find to see the problem.

Without a description of the noise, a guess would be an idler or tensioner in the serpentine belt system,or possibly one of the belt driven accessories.I recently had a noise in the front of wifes SLS no one could positively locate,and only after removing the belt did a failed bearing in the A/C clutch prove to be the culprit.

thanks butch ya its definately coming from the belt area garage man replaced bearing on belt tensioner thinking it was that.the niose sounds like a sort of squeak. the niose went for 3 days after the garage put the bearing in, but now its as bad as ever.........................
