2007 Impala LT power steering fluid type??

07 Impala LT 3.5L FlexFuel (engine code K) 100k miles.

Quick question: can someone please tell me what equivalent type(s) of power steering fluid to get for this car? The owner's manual calls for the GM specific P/N...or equivalent. From all accounts there seems to be some ambiguity as to the correct fluid, and I want to be sure to get the right type, regardless of manufacturer.
Thanks!

I run ATF in my 07 Grand Prix power steering pump.

If you're in northern Indiana, I'd recommend the "Cold Climate" GM p/s fluid. As Stelthee stated, you can convert it do Dex 6 if you'd like. Some of GM's newer stuff actually has you convert them to Dex 6 if certain repairs are done.

Agree with GMTech1......you can go to your local Walmart or auto parts store, and look for PS fluid, that meets or exceeds, GM specs....
