Unhappy Losing A Friend

well guys I wrecked my 03 Silverado. And I have since bought an 04 nissan titan 4x4. It was hard to let her go but looks like I had no choice. But if you have any questions that I might be able to answer feel free to let me know.

Re: Losing A Friend

Yea, I hate to admit it, but I kinda like the new tundra's. Still, probably wouldn't buy one, sticking to domestic until I have a good reason not too, and it just hasn't happened yet. Buddy of mine has the tundra, and let me tell you, it truely is a beast. But, the good ole time tested GM and Ford (yea, got driven my share of them too) are the ones that I know can stand up to farm life, so I stick with them. There is truely nothing on earth to test a truck like sticking it on a farm for every day use and see what happens. Hopefully, your titan will be a good solid truck and stand the test of time. Let us know how it goes. Just cause you dropped the silvy doesn't mean we won't let you hang out here anymore. Congrats on the new ride.

Re: Losing A Friend

Well I decided to buy the Titan because I have been looking at them for about a year now and I really liked them. Plus everyone that has had one of the old Nissan trucks has said the last forever so I was going with some reputation on them. And now that I have one of the Titans I love it. It has way more power then any domestic truck I have driven and is way smoother of a ride then any of them too. I bought the 4x4 to use it and when I felt the ride I figured it wouldn't be any good off-road but I have to admit I was wrong. I took it out mudding today just to try it out with my buddy and his lifted ford and you would be amazed at who got stuck. And just a hint it wasn't me. And his ford has a set of 35 BFG's. I do miss my Chevy but I am not at all disappointed I went with the Titan. Any more questions let me know.

Re: Losing A Friend

I was just evaluating your actual need for a pickup.

Re: Losing A Friend

Well I live in the country on a farm, I am out in a muddy field at least five days out of a week, I tow a trailer at least two to three times a week, and I like to have a truck. I believe those are pretty good reasons to need a pick-up. If not then I guess I need to be told so and I will go get me a sedan. I have more need for a truck then probably 80% of the people on this forum. So if I need someone to tell me whether I need a truck I will make sure to give you a call and ask.
