Lear stock soars on Icahn buyout bid
Shares in Lear Corp. today sky rocketed after the company announced that an affiliate of investor Carl Icahn was offering $36 a share, or $2.31 billion, to buy the company. At 1:30 p.m., Lear shares were trading for $38.86, up $4.20 a share or 12.
