T56 Transmission Life

Hey guys, my Grandma's 2002 Camaro SS just had a major transmission failure, and i was wondering if anyone knew the average life of a T56? this one in perticular hasnt really been raced at all in its life, bought brand new and driven by a older woman.

Does your grandma chain smoke, talk dirty, and pack a .45 in her purse too?

"Clutch, whats a clutch"

Just a random thought running through my head that would make my day

Re: T56 Transmission Life

Stieh, dude I just read your sig... you dropped a TV on your Maro??? WTF??? Sounds like something I would do, except I would have taken the tv and smashed it into little pieces whilst speaking in tongues and crying for my Maro.

It was a 12" TV/VCR combo that I had in my back passenger seat. I went to get it out, but it was a tad bulky, not heavy, but akward. Anyway, the power chord was dangling down, so I tried to grab it, and in the process the weight shifted and the TV went over. And of course the tv had to land on a corner, and not a flat surface, so there is a small dent and permament dark gary scuff mark in the paint.

And the TV wasn't even mine so I couldn't exactly load up the shotgun to dispense some justice.
