is there a special programming in the car to turn on the AC when you turn the knob to defrost on the climate controls?

This question was supposed to be asked at Civic forum but as long as you are here:

As far as I know on Accords you cannot reprogram this feature: when you turn on defrost AC will automaticaly come on.
