BTW: I can't believe you took an image that registers 24KB and turned it into something registering over 1.25MB.

Incidentally - in case you went looking for the thread that sparked this, I had to remove it because those photos were not supposed to have been shared on the web. Someone apparently got in a heap of trouble over it.

Damn, I guess I missed the original thread. Can someone explain what it was about?

Well I don't think it's childish - the car wasn't exactly "complete" in those photos so I can understand why someone would want to keep that under wraps. Remember what happened the last time pictures like that came through here.

In the end, I think it serves the greater good to respect someone's wishes in a situation like this. It's not like the pics were taken randomly in a public location. Someone just didn't get the message that if they were allowed to take pictures that they were not supposed to be broadcast around the web.

No, I meant, posting a pic they were not supposed to post, taking advantage of someone's generosity and then publicizing something that they were not supposed to. For what? To gloat on the internet that they have some kind of access? Childish...and only shooting themselves in the long term.

Sorry - I totally misunderstood your point.

Actually, I don't think the photog was informed of the sensitive nature until after the images appeared on this forum. The same album was full of photos from all around the shop the car resides in. I think they just intended to share them with friends, didn't realize the album they were in was "public", and may not have even known it would be an issue. That's what I gathered from story I got.

Water under the bridge now, I hope.
