Will 215065016 fit the Intrigue

Hi guys I have a chance to pick-up a set of Mitchelin Harmony tires for peanuts Problem is they are 215-65-16 will they fit our intrigues with tires that are 225-60-16 as standard. By my calculation there should be very little difference in size. Am I correct in this assesment.

I dont know on the fit but I would advise against this because it will have a pretty adverse effect on handling.

The tires will fit but as you know the 215/65 have a taller side wall and slightly narrower width. I woud talk to a tire shop about the handling aspect before putting them on. I agree with notimprezed, it could make your Intrigue drive differently.

Thanks guys I will take your advise and take a pass on the tires. I will stick to 225-60-16 and maybe buy 215-60-16 if I get a great deal on them.
