What do you believe???

I'm just curious what's everyone's beliefs are. Like a simple paragraph describing what you believe whether it's religion, life in general, etc.

Like, I believe in God. I'm a Christian, but I don't believe in everything labeled under the term. I'm what some would call a untrue believer. But that's only because I believe what I believe and not everything written in something loosely translated overtime. I believe homosexuals have all right to marry, it is America, land of the free. Who cares unless somewhere something truly bad will happen if they're allowed, bringing up my next thought. Anyone that complains about the gov't or politics should shut up. Seriously, what do you know that no one else can know by looking into the media. Unless you actually get gov't papers or work with or above the presidents.

I'm not sure what I would be classified as. I was raised very much Christian-Baptist. I joined the church when I was about 13. Nowdays I find myself questioning the validity of religion or at least what it means to me. On the rare occasions that I attend the church in which I grew up, its only to appease my mother and let the older people there see my face since they seem to enjoy speaking to me and for whatever reason seem proud of me for not being dead or in prison.

I think my questioning of religion has come as a result of the overall shittiness and comparative unfairness of the events over the last 4 years of my life in conjunction with my general growing cynicism spurred by my growing knowledge of the crumbling world around me.

Bleak and depressing enough for you?

Infact its quite refreashing to see a young mind begin the path to greater self awarness, enlightenment and a more objective understanding of the world

i believe that god doesnt exist, there is a logical explanation to everything, and life is essentially pointless, but that doesnt mean it cant be fun. sometimes i question this though, ive had insane coincidences that you wouldnt believe if i told you. it doesnt really matter though; im going to live my life with good morals either way. blatently put: if that's not enough for "god", ge can fuck himself.

I believe in god, Im penecostle (sp) but i dont believe all of whats in the bible. I believe that it doesnt matter what you look like (tattoos or pierceings) I do believe that even if you dont believe in god and you are a good person that they will go to heaven also. I do think that gays/lesbians should be able to marry. I mean why not, everyone has a right to be happy. Its not like its going to hurt americas reputation, we have child molesters,rapist and all sorts of other things so ya anyway.

i was raised christian, but i have had no religion for the past 5 or so years, you could call me an aetheist but i do not like to think of myself as that, mainly because you are classifying someone who has no religion in religious terms. i beleive in science and things that can be backed and proven by real world evidence. i consider myself to have a fairly strict code of morals, mainly cause thats how i was raised. i dont steal, do drugs, or disrespect my family. some of my political views are christian oriented, i am against abortion cause i think it is murder(but thats a whole nother can of worms lol). i think that religion has been helpful in the past but is now a hindrance on society. i think man has the social responsibility to develop his own set of morals and values and we do not need a god to tell us what we can and cant do.

a good movie that will change your views on the christian community is "jesus camp", it is an indie documentary, playing is select theaters, i reccomend it.

Well I'm a muslim. I do believe every word in the Qur'an otherwise I wouldn't be a muslim. I was raised Catholic until I was 13 years old. Even though my father is a Muslim, he never practiced it when he came to United States. Then he started to practice Islam in '93-'94 but never bothered to teach me anything about it. I had little or no knowledge of Islam at the time. Then I met my friend who happens to be a Pakstani Muslim. His father introduced me to Islam then I fell in love with it. Everything that I wished Christianity was already existed in the Qur'an. Then I converted to Islam. Still thriving for knowledge since im still a mere student. And to this day , Im still best friends with my Pakstani homeboy

I'm a Christian but I guess you could say I'm more "open" than others.

I see no harm in alcohol (granted it's not abused).

I see no harm in gambling (again, granted it's not abused).

I watch Family Guy and South Park even though they mouth some of my views. It's funny though.

Abortion is murder.

I don't like gay marriage and think it's wrong. If they're doing it in the name of "love" then why not allow incest couples to marry or people into beastality? Sure incest couples can't have kids due to defects but gay guys risk the spread of HIV and they can't have kids either. Also, if it's in the name of "love" then who cares? Sure a woman and a dog isn't normal but then again two guys tearing each other's ass up isn't normal either.

I fucking hate illegals thinking we owe them something. They're changing our language, demanding this and that and it pisses me off.

I hate the fucking mooches that come into the store I work at with food stamps. They are a leech on our society and are doing no good. Gee and we wonder why the economy is down. Cut off these fuckers and make them get a job and we'll have some money. I mean most of these people are getting $500 a month in food stamps. This is what I see working in one store, in one county, in one state.

Porn is our friend.

As for relationships, don't believe in just banging chicks to bang them but I also don't like serious relationships. Think there can be a happy medium between the two. (there is an exception, see below)

I like guns, I own guns, guns don't kill people, don't touch my guns, I'm going to keep shooting my guns, I will buy automatic guns, I like automatic guns, automatic guns don't kill people, I like guns.

Politics sucks. It's all mud slinging and which can get over the other. Democrates and Republicans are pretty much the same. It's all about who can point fingers at who. 9-11 brought us together? I see it as who can put the blame off on somebody else.

I want to go to Europe and go to these countries: France, Germany, and Sweden. I then want to bang as many hot broads in those countries as possible (mainly Sweden). I don't know why I just do.

Anyway, it's late, I'm just typing shit and I'm really not thinking about this. Maybe I'll get on here tomorrow and either edit this post or make a new one where I can actually put some thought and seriousness into it.

I believe in the individual, not the sheep. The sheep conform and let be controlled, without own knowledge. The sheep hate with passion, the individual hate with rationality. The sheep hates what the sheep is told to hate, while the individual do not hate unless there is a need. Individuals respect the sheep, as they have not chosen their belief, while the sheep hate the individual as well as the other sheep, by reasons they couldn't have prevented nor have chosen. The sheep will defend their pasture and will do so even if the pasture is proven bad for them and others, through this, nationalism, fundamentalism, neo anarchy, terrorism and hate is born.

Controversal part:
Man has evolved through millions of years from what we call apes/monkeys. The nature is still evolving, and is accelerating at an awesome rate as mankind is developing. To deny that close evolution and long time evolution doesn't have a connection is to draw lines. I hate lines.

A belief which gives the believer comfort, happiness and guidence to a happier life is a good belief. A belief which cricles around the truth, rather than the believer is a bad belief. This kind of beliefs give birth to nationalism, fundamentalism, terrorism, activists and sheeps.

There's a strong relationship between my individual, and Nietzsche's übermensch. Although mine completely focus on making oneself happy, even if that includes showing off to others to reach happiness. Of course my individual does not harm others.

The meaning of life has no key, no "right" answer. I've set the standard to do whatever makes you happy. The Tao is shining through my lines as you might've noticed. There is no such thing as doing something without own winning, the human mind is not designed to do so. If you sacrifice yourself for another, you do that because you WANT to. And if you want to, there is something in it for you, even if it'll only last for afew seconds. Then youre dead and don't know. To do something under gunthreat is doing something to ensure you'll be alive the next day; you want to do what you're doing.

Life is not divine, it is a mechanism engineered to survive and expand. Very similar to computers, though they are a tool used to expand. Though they technically work in the same way. It's when lines are drewn between life and life, the meaning of the word takes off in separate directions. Most people have drewn a line between humans and "animals". It's right to kill an animal for food, but not to kill a human for food. Though it's wrong to kill an animal as a punishment, but not a human. People know today that plants and trees are alive, but it's not wrong to kill it. I'd say, without the lines, that is would be like shooting a retarded person in the head, he deosn't know what the fuck is going on anyways, right? Though there's a catch; a human has a brain, a brain is designed with feelings as a way to stay alive and expand. the plants only have what's written in its DNA string to know how to stay alive and expand. The feelings though goes hand in hand with my Meaning of Life, since you should do what makes you happy. But does the retard feel unhappiness, when he's dead? No. But he might've, if he would've been alive.

In the end it all comes down to one thing. Global and total euthanasia. But I don't know, I really want things to be different and that I would never had thought of the euthanasia part. So i close my eyes to that, and stay focus on my Meaning of Life.

That's what i believe anyways. Oh and I'd call it Rationalistic Induvidualistic Agnosticism, i think.

The saying "ignorance is bliss" is very fitting here. Sometimes, its better to enjoy what is than worry about why it is. I guess for me it must be a little scary... maybe I'm so bored with the predictable topics like... why are we the way we are... Truely, it isnt hard to imagine why things happen in the world when you just concider us... we're laughable for the most part.
