Headlight removal problem

Hi I would like to change the headlights in my '94 C1500 but the little screw do-dads that you need to unscrew are stripped, they wont come out. Am I basically looking at removing the grill to do this now?

More info needed! Do you have single glass headlights or dual glass or dual plastic? Dual plastic you have to take the grill out to replace headlight assembly

Sorry I have the composite 4 light system (plastic)

Simple to take grill out, but don't forget the screws behind the turn signals!
