Just in general....all of them, annoy the hell out of me. And I think what annoys me most, is no matter how much you try and argue with them, you can't win, because you are basing your argument on rational thoughts, logical inferences, the ability to follow a coherant chain of events or casual relationship, or just plain fact that they are unwilling to accept.

I'm just at a loss. I dont' even know where to start, I've just had my fill of them. It's like I cannot turn around without bumping into somebody with the mental capacities of a fucking turnip.

Dealt with the same telemarketer 11 times over the past week, 3 of which were today. They are calling for some girl who doesn't live here, has never lived here, and will never to my knowledge live here. I've explained this to them 8 times now. Sure enough, somehow that translates into this dumb bitch's little mind, "I'll call back tomorrow and wake his ass up again...maybe Lori Whoever will have moved there by then". The eleventh time we go through this, I explain that we have had this number for 8 years, we've owned this house for 25, Lori doesn't fucking reside here and cannot be reached at this number. The dumb bitch literally says "so...um...what is a good number to reach her?" How the fuck should I know, I don't know who she is...maybe use a phone book

Earlier, I read some online argument where some idiot is arguing that the same laws of physics do not apply to small remote controlled cars as they do to full sized race cars. Now granted my high school gf sat next to me in Physics, so I was a tad distracted most of the time, but come the fuck on...drag, windresistance, and an engine's power output don't apply to the top speed of an RC car? After 3 pages of this twit arguing (and even sadder, a dozen people believing him because they are too stupid to rationally process anything themselves) I think I had an aneorism.

Then because I'm a gluton for punishment, I decide to play some online poker. I'm having a nice conversation with some guy. We start discussing travel, pets, and then poker books we've read. When these kids, who clearly havn't made it through puberty yet, decide to join in and take shots at us. Now not only, did 65% of everything they said not constitute a rational thought, sentence or fragment in any language ever conceived. But they continue to play like idiots, and then when they win a hand on sheer dumb luck, continue to bask in their own 'self-taught/no poker books' glory. Undoubtedly, they havn't even mastered Dr. Seuss yet, but damned if it isn't the most annoying thing when you get river raped by some 4% gutshot straight-drawing tool, and then have to actually scan through his drivel to continue the conversation already in progress.

Log onto a car chatroom, and soon enough, there's another adolescent interrupting the conversation continuously with his unbridled use of teh words 'phag' and 'phuk'. And I'm just stuck staring at my computer screen wondering how I can talk this idiot into ingesting a cyinide capsule.

What else..., the doctors office. Yeah, my mom needs to schedule appointment A before appointment B at 2 different places. Secretary B fills my mom into the only spot available for the next few weeks, 9 days ago, for this Thursday. My mom calls repeatedly to set up appointment A. Office A has a new secretary. Secretary keeps putting her on hold and hanging up, literally all the way through mom's lunch break. So she calls and asks me to set it up. I finally get through to idiot secretary. Who after asking if she can put me on hold, and hanging up on me 10 minutes later because she simply can't figure out how to reconnect to people on hold, (twice now), informs me that I cannot set up an appointment for my somebody else unless I'm their guardian. Well great lady, she talked to you 5 times in the last 2 hours...you put her on hold and hung up on her every time.

I finally asked her if the doctor was good at dealing with blunt trauma to the head. She said, 'I think so...why...do you need emergency assistance?' (we've now been on the phone for 15 minutes...but apparently it's plausible that I had an emergency and forgot to mention it until now.) I reply, "because I have the sudden urge to bang my head against something really hard, and I'm guessing I'm not the first one to feel this way" Yeah that just went right over her head...but she did offer to give me a good suicide hotline.

Hmm, what else, oh I was out back with my dog. Neighbor walked over and decided to chat. Dog came up and stood next to me silently. She starts talking to the dog, which obviously doesn't understand 99% of the English language. Then when it approaches her to sniff her hand, she starts freaking out and yelling at it to get down, and puts her foot up to it's face. Great...kick my dog in the face...that's a sure way to win him over. Not to mention, he's not 'up' so telling him 'down' isn't gonna elicite much of a response. The dog was still like 2 feet away from her, 100% placid, standing on all 4 fours with it's mouth closed and tail wagging...and by hearing her yelling at it, you would think it was mauling her first born. I have never seen such a reaction...and I don't think the dog had either because he looked at me with one of those looks like, "what hte hell is wrong with this bitch?"

Hey, ever try to get buy something that costs over $100 with half cash and half debit card. Don't if you want to keep your sanity. Enough said there.
Next store I stop at has 21 cash registers...how many are open...3..but how many greeters at the door...5. Take a guess which chain.

How long does it take to purchase one item? I've made it to the center of a tootsie pop faster. I hop into the self-check out 12 items or less aisle. Not only could the person in front obviously not read the '12 items or less' sign, or count that high without taking off her shoes...but you would have thought the touchscreen was in sanskrit the way this dumb bitch was staring at it. I guess the 'scan next item' message really threw her for a loop. It got to hte point where I wanted to walk over and give this lady a swift kick to the ovaries in hopes that she would never be able to reproduce. I've clicked on the option to check out in Spanish before and had less trouble deciphering it.

I just can't deal with dumb people. And if you come to a complete stop at every yield sign, I'm including you in this group and would prefer it if you didn't respond to this...for the sake of any ounce of sanity I may have left.

Kudos to you, Igovert500!! I'll add one to your list. People who go through the drive thru at lunch time. I've got advice for you: You're not the only one trying to eat. I get 30 minutes for lunch and every time I go to the nearest restaurant, it takes longer than it would if I had gone to the farthest restaurant. People pull up to the box and then decide that they need a minute.....which ends up being 5 minutes! I've got to get back to work. I have actually begun shouting "Hurry the F*** up already!! Then when they finally do decide what they want, they have to specify every detail of their order. If you have allergies that's ok, but more likely than not, you don't! "I need one of those with no tomato and onions" "One with extra ketchup and onions" etc. etc. etc. Quit being so picky! How hard is it to pull off a tomato and save everyone in line the extra 5 minutes that it takes you to explain this to the person taking your order? DEE DEE DEE!! All I'm saying is that if you're gonna get fast food during the peak lunch hours, please have an idea of what you want. If you think there's a chance that your order could be messed up, GO INSIDE!! $#!^. I also love it when I pull up to get my food and the person who just got their's and has begun to pull off decides that they need to BACK UP!! It ain't gonna happen. If you have to back up, then I have to back up, etc. Ever hear of the Domino effect? Pull over and go inside! Which is what you should've done in the first place! Ok I'm done.

Don't pick on telemarketers. I had to volunteer at a call center for the "Tom Osborne for Nebraska Governer" campaign and it was a hell on earth. They work really long days for really low wages and a computer chooses who you dial off a call list, not the telemarketer. And don't fuck around with them either, that just distracts them from thinking about how they can kill themselves in the most brutal way for getting stuck witth such a sucky job.

becuase I live in california I get the best of everything....diversity isn't always a good thing....I think it is messed up when Carlos from San Ysidro comes in the store and makes his daughter do everything for him that involves the english language...i would rather Carlos gives a little effort with the language than being a lazy ass and making his daughter who already bilingual at 12 years old do it all....kudos to his daughter...but c'mon....you came here...learn the language....I am not racist...I promise..

I used to telemarket to, for years. I have a deep sympathy for them, what I don't sypathize with is stupidity. There is usually a button on their computers where they can click 'wrong #'...11 times later they hadn't figured that out.

Haha, no, the link was sent to me via instant message and I didn't save it. Didn't ever wanna subject myself to reading it again. Sad thing was, there were already 2 or 3 intelligent people in there schooling them in Physics...the rest were just too stupid to follow it.

While I understand the frustration, have you ever tried living in a foreign country? It's alot harder than you would think. The 12 year old is going to school and immersed in English 90% of her school day, the other 10% she's taking English as a Second language. 'Carlos' maybe trying, but it takes balls to test out a new language on a stranger, especially when you know whatever you say is probably going to be wrong grammatically and your accent will be evident. I lived in Germany 3 years, and while I could hold my own, I still wasn't fluent and the first year was rough. Can't hit on girls, can't have an argument with the guy she's currently dating , can't figure out if the bartender is asking if you want another drink or calling the bouncer over to eject you from your current location Ever been in a situation where you couldn't spell your own last name correctly? Probably not since you were born. Every little thing is just 20x more difficult.

So yeah, I understand the frustration, I know I caused alot. And you are right, in a foreign country you should make the effort to learn the language and respect the customs. Just saying I can understand both sides.

I guess I'm more so frustrated with the people that have been in San Diego for 15 years and still don't know the language...I mean c'mon....I know it's rough, but you can't fulfill your potential and actually have great opportunities if you don't know the language....but it'll all good...it's their lives....and I'm learning spanish as I'm writing this down from all the Latinos in the military...they call me gringo behind my back....is that a bad thing?.....
