KoDKingVegeta's 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse GST Project

Everyone already knows that I went out and bought a 1995 Eclipse GST for 300 bucks. And it needs some work. So in this thread I will update everyone on my progress. Here are a few pictures, the first thing I did was put my leather interior inside of the car. Here are some pictures of when I was looking at it, and some with the new interior.

My To Do List:
New T25 turbo
1999 Eclipse front and rear conversion
Install Black Hood
Steam Clean the carpet and wash the rest of the interior
Get new exhaust
Clean off all the tint and retint the windows
Replace both power mirrors with black ones
Install GSX spoiler (once I find one )
Reinstall the Auto Meter gauges
Pull the motor and wash the engine bay, clean/replace all seals/gaskets on the motor
Replace drivers fender and door
Get projectors
Install the 1999 2nd gen rims that I got

Re: KoDKingVegeta's 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse GST Project

Lol!! O well, it gets me from point A to point B. Anyways here are a few new pictures, with me tearing the interior apart and cleaning it. I didnt get to steam clean the carpet, cuz it started to rain. But it does look alot better.

^----- Im assuming this was a pro install, due to the old radio setup. But since the old radio was broken it does me no good.

Re: KoDKingVegeta's 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse GST Project

Ok got some updates, I got the rest of the leather interior for the car BUT the driver door panel. I got the passanger side panel, and the back seats. I also got a drivers side door in the color red. The tint on the new window is a little lighter. But I will just replace the glass. Here are some pictures. Also the guy I got the seats and stuff from, has a stock 7bolt with the turbo, and he said he would sell me the turbo if I could get the bolts off. Well there FROZE. I CANT get them. So thats out of the picture.

I thought about that, but I want to keep them gray. I looked at your black interior and its just a little to black for me.

Re: KoDKingVegeta's 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse GST Project

When I was working on the car yesterday, opening and closing the door testing the lock and alignment, I noticed the gauge cluster said "Security" or sumtin. I didnt pay no mind to it, till I went to unlock it from the outside and opened the door. All of a sudden an Alarm went off I had to rush to the front of the car and unhook the battery. I then later followed it to the alarm horn, unhooked that. But when I get out of the car and lock it, then go to unlock it and open the door the headlights flash, aka the alarm is going off. I looked EVERYWHERE and I couldnt find the fuse for the alarm. Does anyone no where it is? The car is a 1995 Eclipse GST lol, I didnt think this yr had an alarm.

Re: KoDKingVegeta's 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse GST Project

There is a sensor in the door that when you manually unlock a door it disables the alarm. You need to pull that sensor out of your old door and stick it in the new one if it doesn't have it. That'll solve that problem for ya... If ya don't wanna do it that way, then the fuse is under the hood in front of the battery...

Is it in the fuse box? Because I looked and couldnt find anything. And with the door the wire was broken off the lock. Is that why it keeps going off?

Yes and yes. I had a problem where my hood button mount broke and the alarm kept going off at random times because of it and I had to pull the fuse until I fixed it... Now its broke again and I need to remember to fix it before I put it all back together again...
