O2 sensor help - 96 Pathfinder

Hi all:

I have a 96 pathfinder that needs o2 sensor replacement for bank 1 sensor 1 and bank 2 sensor 2. How can Iocate them? Your help to identify them and any tricks to replace them easily would be appreciated.

They're on the exhaust and unscrew from it. I dunno which side is which though.

Re: O2 sensor help - 96 Pathfinder

bank 2 is the driver side. bank 1 is the passenger side.
Sensor 1 is before the cat, sensor 2 is after the cat.

Re: O2 sensor help - 96 Pathfinder

If you look at your exhaust system, right after you Y, there is a flater, but wider part to your pipe. This is your cat. one of the sensor is screwed into your exhaust before the cat, the second is screwed into your exhaust after the cat.

Try this...

Go to Google.com and type in "catalytic converter".
