Best way to build a 351 cleveland??
hey i have a 68 mustang and just bought a 351 for her however i want to really build this engine to run bout as fast as possible in a quarter mile. There is one thing setting me back and that is deciding the best parts for it, i have gone with roller cam, rockers, and lifters...but i am still debating on who sells the best heads, carb, intake, ignition system the whole 9 yards for performance parts. i am a student but every dollar is goin into this car but i dont want a slow car for quarter mile. if you could help me out that would be much appreciated

Re: Best way to build a 351 cleveland??
Your going to want a S/C to get down track fast. For ignition MSD is the way to go.Fuel/Air go for a good tunnel ram for S/C.A 4150 Dominator Holly Carb. For heads I would suggest a set of 351 4V heads ported and polished would do fine but I think you could find something better.
