Digital Compass Display Issue

I have a 2001 Yukon XL and lately i've notice that if I have the widnshield wipers on the digital compass display seems to go haywire. Ever so often when the wipers are cycling the display will totally light up and then go blank. Anyone have any ideas about what might be causing this or where I should start to look?

Sounds like you're loosing power or ground to the mirror. If that's the case, the green LED to the left of the switches will flicker on and off at the same time. You'll notice the display goes "all on" when you start the truck. Same thing if you disconnect power momentarily.
