Re: air/heat only blow on highest setting

chances are the blower resister has failed . It is easy to verify with an ohmeter or test light .

Re: air/heat only blow on highest setting

I'm having the same issue with my car and here is what I've found so far:

The blower motor got clogged with stuff that fell out of my (over stuffed) glove box. The motor sounded horrible, I thought the bearings were going out. Got new blower, and pulled the old one to find the paper clogging the cage. Resistor pack is fine, but the added resistance to the blower motor burned the speed select switch in the ventilation cluster. Haven't yet spent the money to replace it, but it's my next step...

Re: air/heat only blow on highest setting

I have replaced 2 resistors in my 98 breeze now. Any idea on what would be causing them to go bad?

Re: air/heat only blow on highest setting

I got the parts from my local dodge dealer. There was no charge for the second one as it has a 1 year warr.
