Question Astro Hydro-Boost Choices

I suspect my hydro boost has gone south as van has no power steering and no power brakes but impeller on power steering pump still shows resistence. My Question*****Will it hurt to drive van with manual steering and brakes for up to 30 miles inorder to get it to a shop I can work in???***** I can handle the "StrongArm steering" and limited braking but don't want to damage anything further.

Re: Astro Hydro-Boost Choices

The damage to the hydroboost is done, go ahead and drive it. The steering gear and master cylinder will still function, but without power assist. Make sure you keep the reservoir full of fluid.
