4L60E Fitment Questions

I have an LT1 engine and 4L60E trans out of a 1995 SS Impala. Now my question is will that trans fit into a 1999 3.8L Camaro with an auto. trans. I know that the 3.8L Camaro has a 4L60E trans. but from what I've read they changed a few things on the newer ones. It is really hard to find any web sites that tell you what trans. will fit into what vehicals. If anyone can help me please do so, I need all the help I can get. Thanks, Dan.

Re: 4L60E Fitment Questions

Bellhousings are differentm, V6 to V8, boltholes won't line up.

See how that one has one bolt on the very top? The V6 has two top bolts about 3 inches away from each other
