Here is what I know: 1989 Integra LS, cigarette lighter socket not working due to no ground but I do have 12V, cruise control indicator light works once in a while, heater control lights come on once in a while and not necessarily when the cruise control light is working, radio powers on but get no sound (have tried 2 different radioes with the same results). Radio problem may be related to factory equalizer, radio wire harness is spliced into an adapter that plugs into the factory wiring harness and since this car came with the factory equalizer I am assuming that the equalizer could still be in the circuit and be the source of the radio problem. I don't know if the equalizer works or how it is wired into the system. Would the equalizer light up if it was working? Anybody seen anything similar? Anybody know where the cigarette light gets its ground from? Is there a ground buss somewhere that I could check? Is it possible that all my problems are caused by one bad ground connection and where might it be? Any help appreciated.
