Low oil pressure 200 Sierra 4.8 ltre
I have a 2000 Sierra 4.8 ltr w/ 70000 miles. On cold starts the oil pressure takes a while to come up and the check pressure light comes on.
When the engine warms to running temp the oil pressure goes down to 20. What could be the problem or how can I boost pressure?

Welcome to AF. I'd get a calibrated external mechanical gage on it and see whats what, also I believe there was a TSB for an improved seal whre the pump fits to the block or main cap, someone may kick in here for more info, or go to Alldata.com for the basic outlines for TSBs on your truck.
