I just pulled my old motor (D16A6) out and is available for sale. It's best run was 15.1 @ 92mph (on slicks, intake, exhaust, straight pipe and the following D16A6 parts which are for sale...)

JG ported head w/ Webcam cam...$300
stock block...$100 b/o (170,048 miles)
stock tranny...$100 b/o (170,048 miles)
SI distributor (legs modified to fit D16Z6 VTEC head)...$40
stock intake manifold (includes throttle body, fuel rail, & injectors)...$75
AEM Tru Time cam gear (red)...$100
Hotshot 4-2-1 header (black)...$70
Reprogrammed SI ECU (7500RPM Redline)...$100
*or buy the whole package for $600

Extra parts for sale:
ZC (Black cover/DOHC) complete cylinder head...$200
D16A6 cylinder head and block (head needs resurfacing/block needs rebulid)...make offer

how is the condition of the head and block you just pulled, is it still together, or disassembled, comp #'s?

The motor (block and head) still run strong. The original plan was to replace the clutch, but I changed my mind into swapping out the whole motor, which means I was still going to run it. Sorry, I don't have compression #'s.

If i had some $$$ i be on that, at least the stuff needed to do MPFI.



Do you still have your car? if so what you putting in it? Im from across the bay, its cool to see more and more 4th gens popping up.

Do you have any photo of header and what material is it (stainless steel?)
Is that header of the engine that has 130HPoriginal ???...

ro, in your honest opinion, do you think that head would still pass smog, if So put me down for the block, head, dizzy. =] Ill pick up to if thats ok, and CJZ if you would like I live in Modesto, If I get up to Ro's anytime soon I could deliver half way down to you =].

Bleebdat...The head w/ the Webcam cam probably will not pass smog...it might though. I have a stock camshaft that I'll throw in. That way, when smog time comes...just swap out the cam. It's not that hard to do.

I know you didnt mention it, but you wouldnt happen to have a working A/C compressor would you?

If you do make sure its the Matsushita cause there were two different compressors and the other one wont work.
