grease fittings

how many grease fittings on Bonneville 99 SSEI?

Most factory suspension pieces are non-greasable. If anything has been changed before, then there would be a maximum of 4, 1 on each lower ball joint, and 1 on each outer tie rod end.

Best way to find out is to jack it up and craw under there and count them.

And remember if some parts have been replace they may have fittings or may not so you just have to look to see what it has.

All Bonnevilles from 87-99 have 8 grease fittings (Front + Rear balljoints, Front + Rear outer tie rod ends). The rear ones are easly visible when under the car. The ones one the front balljoints stick out of the sides not the bottom.

Not from the factory they don't. GM went to mostly sealed chassis components in the mid 90's.

I have them as described in earlier post front and back on my '97. No replacement work done on my vehicle, (at least on the suspension).

my olds 88 (same h-platform as the bonnies) has 8 fittings from the factory.
