BOOYA! Turbo Blazer @ 8psi.

Guy needs to learn how to do a dyno pull. You don't change gears while doing it.

Re: BOOYA! Turbo Blazer @ 8psi.

I keep close look on that guy hes on "chevy blazer forum" Im gonna be " that guy" i think its weak. He did a home made turbo to a stock engine and it only made 255. Dont get me wrong congrats to him that must be fun, But if i was going to turbo anything at 8lbs it would hope to see more then 55 hp jump. Im also no really big on the remote turbos at all. I think its a short cut to get a cool turbo noise. If your gonna go somthing thing like that go big or go home. But never the less it is preety kool, fun little up grade, Hes deff got to do somthing about the One wheel burner.

I think with a proper tune he can increase those numbers a lot. The remote setups do work quite well.

There is a tiny bit more lag, but they are much more easier to work on.

350 with a weiland blower would impress me. I can do a burnout like that right now with just pouring some bottled water on my tire.

I think he does blame the weak numbers on the fact thats its un-tuned. I would be mainly concerd with having the air filter under the car, But the front mount does look awesome in some of the pictures that i have seen him post

Re: BOOYA! Turbo Blazer @ 8psi.

i think that was sick. that 255hp is at the wheels, not the engine. stock is 130-140 at the wheels. that was a home made kit right? i think sts should make one for the blazer and include a programmer w/custom tune.

nope. factory rating is 190hp at the crank and they put down 130-140 to the wheels. so 255rwhp is a 100+hp gain without tuning. id say thats pretty damn good.

Re: BOOYA! Turbo Blazer @ 8psi.

Rebuilt the engine. I wouldn't recommend it cause I'm having some idle issues. I went with a mag cat, hypertech stage 3 programmer, crane firewire , and some JBA headers that they had at the local tune shop that did the rebuild.

If i was gonna spend 2.5k i would be the GM 350 H.O in the summit mag for 2,499
