Passenger side/front of the motor, screwed into the intake manifold water passage...has a yellow and a black wire connected.

location diagram here: http://www.autozone.com/servlet/UiBr...3d8012a601.jsp

Different locations for vin Z and W engines, look at the vin number on the dash thru the windshield on the drivers side if you're uncertain which you have.

Re: 1992 Bravada 4.3 CPI Vortec

The fuel filter is located inside the left frame rail forward of the left rear wheel.

The coolant temperature sensor for the dash gage, (or warning light), is located in the left cylinder head, between the first and second spark plugs. The coolant temperature sensor for the ECM is located in the front of intake manifold, very close to the thermostat housing. The two sensors are NOT interchangeable. Make sure you specify to your parts store which one you are looking for.

The coolant sensor between the spark plugs is only on the '98-'99 enignes, the '92 only has the one and the parts manualy only lists one.
