Where to buy SR20DET

I am looking for an SR20DET. Trying to price it out mostly, and find a place that won't screw me. A place local or close to Minnesota would be prefered, but I'm having tourble finding a place.

Anyone have any recommendations? a good place they got their motor from?

Re: Where to buy SR20DET

your not going to find a place local.

heres some sites
g-dimension.com which i think is the best and where i got mine from

heavythrottle.com

jdm-online.com

make sure you get the whole uncut wiring harness and all that stuff too.

i think i ended up spending about 5k on my engine swap if you include the greddy front mount downpipe and exhaust and a couple little extras like a fluidyne radiator slim fan and all new belts. which i thought was a pretty good price.

there is a few sites here, http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...ad.php?t=92927
Edit: You may also check around at local custom shops, if Sioux Falls, SD has a shop capable of it then im sure St Paul or Minneapolis or the suburbs have at least one shop tha can do it, look around

Re: Where to buy SR20DET

I bought my s14 notch top from Venus-auto.com in california. I got the whole clip and it came out to 3k shipped to a shop. The engine was in good shape, the only issue I had was the ecu was blown and had to get a new one from them. Dont know install price being hat I did the swap my self, but my local shop charges 4500 to 5000, I think. Hope it helps.

Re: Where to buy SR20DET

That's a good question. Where do you buy an SR20? If only there were websites where you could type in keywords and get helpful search results...
