GTP vs. 300C

One of my friends dad's has a 300C so last night i asked him if he wanted to run. He kinda laughed at me... Anyway we go out and race 3 times. First time i smoked him by 3 or so cars. Second time i alunched liek a 3rd grader and he got me by a car or 2. 3rd time was pretty even till 85 or so, when he gained slightly before we shut down.

Conclusion:

Very good races, best launch won the race... also, v8 top end is hard to compete with.

Needless to say he was kinda suprised in the outcomes haha.

Re: GTP vs. 300C

Nice races, That goes to show how much a launch affects the outcome of a race.

Re: GTP vs. 300C

get a cam or 1.9 rockers and you will be able to hang w/ v8's a lot better up top. Nice kill btw...launching fwd cars w/ tons of torque takes a lot of practice.

Re: GTP vs. 300C

havn't ran it in the quarter since getting most of the mods on there... when i ran it it was high 14's. With a good run i think it would put down a 14 flat.

W/ a good launch maybe even high 13's. Im running mid 13's right nowbut im a little more modded than you...I pulled off a 13.8 before my rockers though. Get a 3" Downpipe its a good mod for only $90 from zzp.

Re: GTP vs. 300C

That would be a good race for your mods. Maybe your blower got heatsoked and it slowed you down a little on the last couple runs...

peace
