trans swap

I am planning a full b16 swap someday on my 89 hb 1.5 4 speed. but in the meantime will the trans from the b16 bolt up to my d15b. I just need more speed my 4 speed is only letting me hit 90 at redline

go with a dx tranny. its a 5 speed and not as short of gears as the si trans. but d series is d series.

ur really redlinin at 90? lol i remember 90 was all my lil engine had but i wasnt redlinin and i had it fully advanced lol

well it feels like redline stupid car has no tach. thanks max. and no i dont cruise at 90 only in short bursts when i am pissed at the car in front of me

get the Si tranny. my DX tranny was slow as snails. with my Si tranny i can spin the tires shifting into 3rd with my poopy d15b2! ohhhh yeah. basicly any tranny off a D series engine will work with your D series engine. just avoid hydro trannys (if you can even find one)
