Big Block throttle linkage
Recently converted to a big block using the correct frame mounts and motor mounts and my problem is this: My 70 nova has rod style throttle linkage and it no longer has enough room behind the motor to get a full range of motion to my holley 750 double pumper. I once owned a 72 nova that had cable linkage and was wondering about a possible conversion. Any body have any ideas?

Re: Big Block throttle linkage
I had the same problem with mine and used the cable set up from a '69 Ford Fairlane with a 351. I had to drill the firewall for self tapping screws but it saved the day for me. If you have an old boneyard around you could probably adapt something similar.
