Yesterday i get my first Model kit. I subscribe it from Japan. So, i opened yesterday the box and at the first view it I thoght that it's awwsome.
Some pics after the taking out from box:

And something like this my beauty will be:

But i was so excited, so i was gone to build my beauty. I opened the trunk. Yes, you heard right, the trunk. All is done there, wings system i mean. Now it's more nice. Oh, and i prime my car and some parts to yesterday.

Welcome. You are off to a great start. Good job on opening the trunk. I built this kit about a year ago and it's great. I look forward to seeing it finished.

Okei, some updates are done. I painted the hood to white. As I promise. Car has an underlay. It's too white. And today I will do surface layer too. And i have done the.. hmm... how to say that, ou, the dividing wall or smth. It 's between the trunk and interior.
some pics too:

Definitely off to a good start, this is one of my favourite kits (I owned a '69 Firebird in real life myself.)

Re: 1969 Pontiac Trans Am W.i.p

Ok, i think that cars floorboard or smth is now done. I paint it black and then improve that with other colours, dust and rasp it with sandpaper. Some pics now.

Cheers and good christmas time to you!

Õu jee, the body is almost done, just some paint correction on some places. But, all-in i'm content with my car. Hard work is done, details are good and so else. Mabey there are some mistakes, bot those are small. Okei, some pics now.

Enjoy, and give me feedback.

Re: 1969 Pontiac Trans Am W.i.p

Hi!

Coming along quite nicely.
Maybe it's due to the picture, but the body paint (white) seems a bit satin or even matt. Are you going to apply any clear coat?

Keep up the good work.

Cheers,
Lusitano

Re: 1969 Pontiac Trans Am W.i.p

Actually, the body paint isn't matt on satin. I think, this come from that, the light wasn't right, when i took pictures. But in life, it is very beatufil and gloss.
Ou, and the engine is done. And the rear light panel to, maybe i need to correct it, but it's almost done.

Thank you and cheerz!
