Woohoo!!! 98 Prelude!

I recently bought a 98 prelude, and it kicks balls. What are some cool tricks or mods you can do to a prelude?

Re: Woohoo!!! 98 Prelude!

There's a ton of different things you can do - bolt on engine upgrades, exhaust, suspension, rims/tires, bodykits...Jackson Racing makes a blower for your car...Greddy makes a turbo kit...it's up to you and how much money you want to spend. Search this forum for ideas.

Just don't become a ricer with neon lights and a huge pointless wing.

Good call man, you wont be dissapointed! Clean simple mods work best!

I'd go with FI myself but I'm poor, and a student with an internship and a job.

H22's don't respond good to bolt ons, might as well save up, or get some exterior mods, preludes are teh sex.

I like the Ground effects though! I wouldn't get a wing. I like how my lude looks without one. :P It would be pimpage to turbo it though. Where can you buy turbo kits for it?

Re: Woohoo!!! 98 Prelude!

I think big wing at the back would be cool for your 98 prelude. i really admire people who drive cars with aftermarket wings. imma actually in the process of putting some wing on my girlfriends 99 lude. ill post some pics soon as i get it installed.

Try visiting the Greddy or the Turbonetics websites, also try Googling "Rev Hard". There's a lot of kits available - those are the only ones I can think of right now...

you can also piece together your own kit - it's cheaper but it requires more knowledge and research.

Wow. That is simply brilliant. Some wings look cool though. But I won't put one on my lude. Since I'm on here again. My lude died. It was making this weird sound, like a twig got caught on the chassis and was dragging on the ground. And I was on my way to take it back to the dealership, but it died on the road, so I coasted to the gas station that was right by me. It sounded like the noise was coming from this little black box thing, on the drivers side of the motor, right by the belts. I'm not very familiar with this motor yet, so bear with me. I think it sits right above the front left wheel well, on the driver's side, and it is connected to a bracket, which is connected to the block, or some part of the engine. Gosh darnit. First it was a sensor malfunction, now this! I'm going to cry.

Sounds like your EGR sensor/valve thingy.

Re: Woohoo!!! 98 Prelude!

If you plan on doing exterior work I suggest just getting the OEM body kit with the OEM spoiler. Anything else isn't going to look good and RICER.

Thats not true, the WW RS kit looks hot, and the mugen kit is absolutely gourgous.
