I think automobile has better cars in it's profiles, but I like Motor trend's articles much better. R&T and C&D are good too. I think they're all in cahoots.

Anyone ever read Sports Car international? Not very prominent, but wonderful!

yup, MT is a great Mag, it's good to get a couple of em monthly though, that way you will have everything covered, like different views and angles.
I get MT, C&D, and R&T.

Not much a fan of this mag, though I have had a subscription. They just love everything, don't get critical or honest. I found it pretty boring, as it lacks any real meat. They need to get critical and dig into the issues people have about buying cars, since they are the source for many people of information before car purchases. They just suck up to all their advertisers like a congessman to his donors.

Why do you folks like Motor Trend so much? Motor Trend was the best car magazine around into the 1980s...but has slipped (greatly) in recent years. I was hoping that when EMAP purchased Petersen, the magazine would get better. It didn't. Now, EMAP has sold its American magazines...good for EMAP, I don't know what that means for Motor Trend since I don't know too much about its new owner.

As a fan of the underdog, I'm always hoping Motor Trend will make a comeback, but I don't like its current direction. It was much better in the 1980s.

MotorTrend is the BOMB! I like breaking auto news with first photos and spyshots and even artist renderings, and Motortrend delivers. I can count on them for giving me the best of what I did not expect and it's great!
